About Us

The Australian Legal Sector Alliance (AusLSA) is a not-for-profit, industry-led association dedicated to advancing corporate sustainability in the Australian legal sector. AusLSA provides insights into the progress of corporate sustainability in the legal sector through annual member reporting and through the delivery of programs and initiatives related to climate action, human rights and modern slavery, responsible business practices, and other sustainability challenges.

AusLSA is looking for a talented and experienced Report Designer & Website Developer to help update AusLSA’s brand and identity, design and produce our annual sustainability report, and build our new website with updated design and functionality.

About the Role

This short-term contract role involves two key projects:

1. Designing and producing our annual sustainability report – ensuring it is engaging, professional, and aligns with our brand and values (opportunity for ongoing contact work on an annual basis).
2. Designing and developing a new website – modernising the design, improving functionality, and enhancing user experience. Ideally, the website will have a dashboard with automated functionality and enhanced interoperability with the annual reporting.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled graphic designer and experienced web developer who is passionate about corporate sustainability and working with purpose-driven organisations.

Key Responsibilities

• Annual Report Design and Development:
• Design and format AusLSA’s annual sustainability report for print and digital distribution.
• Ensure alignment with our brand and sustainability values.
• Incorporate engaging visuals, infographics, and a clear layout

• Website Design & Development:
• Redesign and develop the organisation’s website to improve the design, usability, and functionality.
• Develop a dashboard page to summarise member data and insights, ideally with automated functionality to show up-to-date information.

About You

We are looking for an individual with:

• Proven experience in graphic design, particularly in developing corporate annual reports, publications, or sustainability reporting.
• Advanced skills in website design and development (UI/UX, layout, functionality, and accessibility best practices).
• Proficiency in design software (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar).
• Experience with web development tools (WordPress, HTML/CSS, or similar).
• A keen eye for detail and ability to present complex information in a clear, engaging, and professional way.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects within agreed timeframes.
• An interest in corporate sustainability and working with a not-for-profit organisation is highly desirable.
