About the Role

As the Human Resources Business Partner, you will hold a key role in providing exceptional guidance and strategic direction in all facets of HR operations. Reporting directly to the General Manager of Human Resources, you will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, offering support in all areas of the employment lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum, including but not limited to workforce planning, conducting comprehensive and complex workplace investigations and mediations, guiding and developing a vibrant team through leadership and mentorship, recruitment, onboarding, and performance management. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in promoting workplace health, safety, and overall well-being within the organisation. Your contribution will significantly impact the Foundation's success in fostering a supportive and productive work environment.

About the Team

We are a small and highly efficient team working together in a supportive and collaborative manner. With a functional HRIS system and other advanced IT technologies in place, we aim to create a seamless and well-functioning HR department. You will be joining a dedicated group committed to driving the Foundation's HR functions to new heights. About You / Key Selection Criteria

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or related.
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in a Human Resources role, with a focus on advisory or business partnering roles.
  • Previous experience in leading and motivating a team.
  • Highly developed leadership capability to influence, lead and motivate across various levels of an organisation.
  • Demonstrated expertise and experience in conducting comprehensive and complex workplace investigations, analysing, preparing detailed outcomes reports and maintaining records to meet legislation requirements.
  • Knowledge of and experience with workforce planning, performance management processes, employee relations, Equal Employment Opportunity, and managing organisational change.
  • Previous experience in implementing organisational change management processes including service redesigns and team restructures.
  • Previous experience in the management of Workplace Health and Safety systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with and support Executive and Senior Leaders.
  • Demonstrated commitment to a learning culture and continuous improvement.
  • Personal values consistent with the values of the organisation.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • A current driver's licence or equivalent.
