The Australian Childhood Foundation is a nationally recognised children's charity dedicated to preventing child abuse and minimising its impact on children, families, and the community. Through specialised trauma counselling, therapeutic care programs, education, and research initiatives, the Foundation aims to create a safe and supportive environment for children affected by abuse. As a leader in child-safe practices, the Foundation provides consultancy, training, and accreditation programs to strengthen organisations' capacity to protect children.
As the Human Resources Business Partner, you will hold a key role in providing exceptional guidance and strategic direction in all facets of HR operations. Reporting directly to the General Manager of Human Resources, you will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, offering support in all areas of the employment lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum, including but not limited to workforce planning, conducting comprehensive and complex workplace investigations and mediations, guiding and developing a vibrant team through leadership and mentorship, recruitment, onboarding, and performance management. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in promoting workplace health, safety, and overall well-being within the organisation. Your contribution will significantly impact the Foundation's success in fostering a supportive and productive work environment.
We are a small and highly efficient team working together in a supportive and collaborative manner. With a functional HRIS system and other advanced IT technologies in place, we aim to create a seamless and well-functioning HR department. You will be joining a dedicated group committed to driving the Foundation's HR functions to new heights.
