Your New Role

In this newly created role, you’ll report to the Head of Ethics Research. With the support of an analyst, you’ll manage and grow the diverse data, information and tools needed to underpin our market leading responsible investment approach. You’ll develop and implement a data and information strategy which maximises the efficacy of our ethical research and measurement and management of our impact.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Evaluating and improving use of data and technology to assess company and investment impact

• Developing and implementing a strategy for our sustainable investment analytics
• Driving innovation in our impact analysis and communication for internal use and for external reporting and communications
• Evaluating and informing impact characteristics of investment strategies and products we offer and how we develop and implement investment strategies and products
• Working with stakeholders across the organisation in product development, asset allocation, portfolio construction and ESG integration

What we’re looking for

Whether you come from a sustainability, investment management, data and information science or analyst background you’ll be passionate and knowledgeable about using multiple sources of information to help make our world a better place. If you have the following, we’d love to hear from you:

• 8+ years relevant work experience in sustainability, investment management, data and information science or similar
• Proven track record of developing and implementing complex data sources, incorporating them into investment business decision making and reporting
• Demonstrated sustainability and impact framework experience
• Exceptional analytical skills and knowledge of market data providers, with capacity to work with financial, non-financial, structured, unstructured, primary, secondary and alternative data
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, economics, statistics, information or social sciences

• Viewed favourably: R, Python, machine learning or AI experience as well as data visualisation
