About the role
We are seeking a full time highly organised and customer-focused Events Coordinator for our Branches team with a passion for events, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask to achieve results. Occasional travel and outside of hours work may be required as part of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Branch Coordination: As an essential member of our event team, you will deliver Australia-wide Branch and Division meetings or webinars with enthusiasm and dedication.
- Diverse Role: This position involves sponsorship coordination, assisting with the annual Branch Activation and Formation process, liaising closely with a dedicated group of Branch volunteers across multiple states, and organizing and implementing successful Branch events within budget. You will also assist with other events as required.
- Event Management: Your responsibilities will include venue and supplier sourcing and negotiation, online registration, monitoring budgets and payments, sponsor and speaker coordination, and branch administration.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to support member growth and retention.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development of event processes and continuous improvement strategies.
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in events, marketing, or a related field is desired
- Previous experience in supporting or managing a diverse range of events
- Shows initiative and is highly organised with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and produce high quality work in demanding time frames
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively engage with multiple stakeholders with a focus on customer service and member engagement.
- Ability to use professional judgement and have a solutions orientated mind set
- Initiative and drive to manage a demanding role, meeting the needs of stakeholders
- A focus on customer service and member engagement
- Positive, self-motivated attitude
- Microsoft office suite including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Previous database/CRM experience
