<p><strong>Lifestyle / Personal Assistant - promoting our autonomy, self-direction, choice and control. Supporting Autistic adults to live lifestyles of our choosing and to actively participate in our homes and communities.</strong></p>
<h3>Roles and responsibilities:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Assist with life management tasks including:
<ul>
<li>managing diary and appointments.</li>
<li>management and storage of information and documents.</li>
<li>record keeping (including notes/minutes of meetings and appointments).</li>
<li>assist with management of rosters, timesheets, shift notes etc.</li>
<li>scheduling and management of all aspects of day-to-day life including: daily tasks, routines and schedules, and household management.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Assisting with day-to-day living tasks when on shift.</li>
<li>Encouraging and assisting use of available sporting and fitness opportunities including racket sports like table-tennis, tennis and pickleball (must be able to play at least average level).</li>
<li>Assist explore, locate and pursue opportunities for a good life, assist with problem solving and communication, assist with locating and linking with leisure and social opportunities.</li>
<li>Providing emotional support and problem solving.</li>
</ul>

<li>Experience in supporting people with very complex support needs.</li>
<li>Genuine skills and commitment to promoting autonomy, self-direction, choice and control of the people we support.</li>
<li>Proven willingness and commitment to working as part of a harmonious, dynamic and diverse team.</li>
<li>Availability and willingness to work full time hours across all shifts in a 24/7 roster which includes day, evening, overnight and weekends.</li>
<li>Demonstrable excellent computer skills.</li>
<li>Ability to project calm, confidence and ability to take command and direct to calm in highly stressful situations.</li>
<li>Inner strength, resilience and self-awareness.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to reflect on personal practice and take on feedback.</li>
<li>Common sense, excellent problem-solving skills, ability to think outside the box and to try new things.</li>

<li>Skills and experience in leadership roles.</li>
<li>Experience working in residential settings.</li>
<li>Sports and fitness skills to at least an average level.</li>
<li>Background in coaching highly considered.</li>

<li>Proven ability to develop and maintain documentation, standards and procedures, including ensuring continuity of records.</li>
<li>Computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft and Office applications.</li>
<li>Willingness to commit to working fulltime hours on a long-term contract.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Must have:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Current drivers license.</li>
<li>Your own insured and registered vehicle and willingness to provide transport.</li>
<li>Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and/or National Police Check.</li>
<li>Current First Aid/CPR certificate.</li>
<li>Completion of NDIS worker training modules.</li>
<li>Thorough working knowledge and commitment to NDIS Code of Conduct.</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Would suit:</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Experience and/or qualifications in: Psychology, Social Work, mental health, Occupational Therapy, Personal Assistant, residential support work, sport/fitness coach, manager, team leader, dementia, accountant, book keeping, personal assistant.</li>
</ul>
