We’re looking for an English Teacher Trainer who can live and volunteer in Kiribati for 12 months.
The Kiribati School and Centre for Children with Special Needs (KSCCSN Inc) is a registered incorporated society, based in Tarawa. It's membership comprises of parents, grandparents and families whose children have disabilities and attend the Special School, as well as employees. It now has over 300 students with 24 different types of disabilities.
Their vision is for children with disabilities in Kiribati to achieve their full potential in a safe, inclusive, welcoming and accessible learning environment, consistent with an international commitment to "education for all". Their mission is to provide the best quality education possible for children with disabilities, in partnership with supportive organisations within and outside of Kiribati.
A volunteer teacher with TESOL qualifications who is also an English first language speaker will assist staff and students to have more confidence in their work.
