We’re looking for a Facilities Management Mentor who can live and volunteer for 6 months in South Africa.
The Ann Harding Cheshire Home (AHCH) is a residential care facility for adults with permanent physical disability. The facility aims to create a society where persons with disabilities have equal opportunities. Their mission is to assist people with disabilities regardless of their colour, race or creed, by providing the conditions necessary for their physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
AHCH is looking for a mentor for their current Facilities Manager and the Ground Staff. They are looking to strengthen and build capacity in the areas of effective communication, developing systems and processes, managing staff effectively and prioritising workload. The areas for support and mentorship would include developing systems and process to support the effective property and building maintenance, fleet management and vehicle maintenance, fire safety compliance, systems and security with the buildings and surrounding infrastructure.
