We’re looking for a Strategic Planning Support Officer who can live and volunteer in Vanuatu for preferably 18 months.
Penama Provincial Government Council is one of the 6 provincial governments of Vanuatu established under Vanuatu Decentralisation Act of Parliament. The headquarters is located on Ambae Island. It is responsible directly and or complimenting national government programs and services like regional planning, primary health care, preschool and primary education, roads, agriculture, tourism and recreational development in the province.
The provincial government requires an expert planner to develop and train local colleagues in developing long-term plans as well as short-term development strategies improving the focus and effectiveness of the Provincial Government service delivery and development opportunities.
