About the Role

The Research Communications Coordinator plays a key role in delivering compelling, high-quality and innovative communications to help us share the incredible work of our organisation.

With over 250 research projects including more than 100 clinical trials underway at Grampians Health, the Research Communications Officer is a critical part of our dynamic research operations department.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Copywriting: research and preparation of copy for a range of corporate and communication materials including annual reports, media releases, and marketing collateral. Collaborating with internal teams to turn complex research into clear, relatable messages.
  • Website review and updates - assistance with regular website review and update and content development e.g. web articles and videos.
  • Electronic communications - creation and distribution of digital communications including e-newsletters and correspondence related to specific events and initiatives
  • Data Collation - Lead the production of the GH Annual Research Report including data collation and reporting.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in writing, editing, and proofreading diverse materials for various audiences.
  • Strong proficiency in computer literacy, including the O365 suite and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of public healthcare and clinical research, with photography and video production experience considered highly desirable.
