We currently have an entry-level Business Analyst Traineeship available at our Collingwood Head Office. Our traineeships are full time for 12 months and provide a great opportunity for individuals who have limited work experience and have not undertaken study since finishing school.

Bank Australia offers a high quality traineeship program in a supportive environment. Trainees will experience working in a professional and successful banking organisation dedicated to responsible banking while undertaking a Certificate III in Financial Services.

This position is placed within our Transformation Delivery Team. The Trainee is responsible for effectively engaging with people across the bank to assist and support the delivery of various projects related to business and strategic initiatives. The trainee will work closely with the business stakeholders associated with the business changes. This traineeship offers an opportunity to work closely with the Project Managers and Business Analysts to deliver new projects and BAU initiatives across the organisation.

What you will be doing

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and document business requirements
  • Assist with embedding process mapping and procedure documentation
  • Develop and deliver presentations to audiences that comprise of people across all levels of technical competence and understanding
  • Support the testing phases of project delivery
  • Develop ERD diagrams, business requirements artefacts, user stories etc.
  • Assist data migration activities in conjunction with business units and external vendors
  • Participate in employee training and development
  • Commitment to optimum professional, efficient and friendly service at all times in accordance with Service standards
  • Complete the requirements for the Certificate III in Business Services.
