Empower Communities with Us: Join BaptistCare as a Microfinance Case Worker!
As a Microfinance Case Worker, you will support the delivery of the No Interest Loans (NILs) program through effective coordination and interpersonal engagement within a trauma-informed care framework. You will engage with clients, assist with document collection, prepare and submit high-quality applications, and promote the NILs scheme within the community.
In this role, you will deliver the NILs Program within the HopeStreet Hub, providing a safe and welcoming environment for eligible people on low incomes to access financial support. You will assist clients with complex needs in document collection, manage client intake and triage, and maintain accurate records in the CRM. Additionally, you will prepare and submit high-quality loan applications, analyse clients’ income and expenses, engage with the community to promote the NILs scheme, and collaborate with the service team to ensure clients have access to support, education, and referrals. You will also produce reports as requested by the Microfinance Practice Lead while maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to privacy principles.
