Part-Time Position
Barbaloot Conservation Group is a non-for-profit animal sanctuary based in Avenel, Victoria, with an office located in Cremorne, Melbourne. We provide a safe haven to critically endangered native animal species like the Southern Brush Tailed Rock Wallaby. Our mission is to save Australia’s wildlife and delist native animals off Australia’s Endangered Animals list.

The General Manager is a key role for the conservation group, and will conduct a suite of duties to support the sanctuary. Some of the activities include; ensuring that the sanctuary is strategically promoted and available for teaching for learning and research purposes, writing grant applications, report to the board of directors, create and monitor annual plans, identify a strategy for and leading talent acquisition, develop and manage beneficial and productive partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders, and develop and manage content to create social media posts.
You will be joining an early-stage non-for-profit supported by a highly diverse team of experienced multidisciplinary professionals and industry-leading partners.
