This is a distinctive opportunity to lead the Emergency Management and Resilience Team focused on building community resilience and fulfilling Council’s legislative obligations in emergency management and fire prevention.
In this critical leadership role, you will work closely with agency, government and community partners to drive innovative projects and oversee the development and implementation of Council’s Municipal Emergency Management Plan and sub-plans, fostering greater community resilience and preparedness for disasters.
To excel in this position, you will need to demonstrate extensive experience in emergency management and community engagement. A strong understanding of relevant State Government Emergency Management policies, frameworks, and funding agreements, particularly as they apply to the sector, is essential.
As a leader, you will be focused on people, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team to successfully deliver projects and meet their objectives.
