about this position

At batyr, we build strong, needs-led partnerships with schools to deliver engaging, relatable, and high-impact mental health programs for young people. As School Partnerships Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in building connections with school and community partners across Victoria to bring these programs to life. You’ll support program bookings, coordinate on-the-ground logistics, and deliver programs that make a real difference.

This role allows you to think creatively about how we grow and strengthen relationships, tapping into educator networks, experimenting with new outreach strategies, or representing batyr at conferences. You’ll help refine the systems and processes that keep things running smoothly and ensure all bookings and engagements are tracked accurately in our CRM (Salesforce).

You’ll work closely with the VIC State Manager, the regional team, and the broader programs crew to grow batyr’s footprint—engaging new school partners, deepening existing relationships, and strengthening our retention strategy.

All candidates will need to hold a current Working with Children’s Check or be willing to obtain one within one (1) month of starting the role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and sustain strong, values-led relationships with schools, as well as corporate and community stakeholders, ensuring we understand their needs and deliver meaningful impact through our programs
  • Drive batyr’s impact by reaching program booking targets and increasing bookings per school through meetings, networking, sales processes, proactively reaching out to new schools and creative outreach
  • Coordinate program logistics, including booking travel, preparing resources and ensuring materials are ready to go
  • Develop a deep understanding of batyr’s offerings and their impact on young people and communities
  • Support high-quality program delivery by collaborating across teams, coordinating on-the-ground logistics, and sharing feedback and insights to help us continually improve
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the education sector and school wellbeing space - understanding needs, barriers and opportunities for engagement
  • Effectively use our CRM system (Salesforce) to manage relationships, track engagement and streamline workflows
  • Travel across VIC, including regional and remote areas, when required to meet with key stakeholders, engage communities and support program delivery
  • Contribute to the successful delivery of funded projects and regional initiatives alongside the VIC team
  • Support the VIC State Manager with ad-hoc tasks, events and other initiatives as needed

ESSENTIAL QUALITIES

  • Active interest in reducing the stigma around mental health
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Proven ability to meet targets and KPIs
  • Experience following systems and processes to achieve outcomes
  • Hold a current Working with Children Check or be willing to obtain one before starting the role
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.

Desirable Qualities:

  • Experience in a customer service role or stakeholder-facing role
  • Proven sales experience
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce
