The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) is the national agency responsible for administering the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme (National Scheme) in partnership with 15 National Boards for the regulated health professions.
This is a full time fixed term opportunity that is based in Melbourne working a hybrid (2 office days) arrangement.
Reporting to the National Director, Cyber and Information Security (CISO), this role leads the delivery of Ahpra’s Cybersecurity Strategy, managing a team to enhance security capabilities and protect services. The National Manager, Cybersecurity Program drives transformative initiatives, ensures compliance, and fosters a culture of security and innovation across the organisation
You will have a strong strategic mindset and extensive experience leading the delivery of cybersecurity programs. With a focus on enhancing security capabilities, safeguarding sensitive data, and fortifying defences, you will oversee a portfolio of initiatives that align with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
Your expertise in managing large-scale, complex projects, coupled with your skills in risk management, program governance, and stakeholder engagement, will ensure successful outcomes that elevate Ahpra’s cybersecurity posture. You will inspire high-performing teams and cultivate a culture of security, innovation, and excellence across the organisation.
