The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement the national regulatory scheme for health professionals. The purpose of health practitioner regulation is to protect the public by ensuring that only health practitioners who have the skills, qualifications and knowledge to provide safe care are registered.
Regulatory Facilitators are part of a national team across multiple work streams and contribute to the delivery of quality, timely, and risk-based notifications and compliance management. They engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including patients, members of the public, government entities, health practitioners, and employers, and require strong problem solving and foundational case management skills, a passion for working with the public, and a drive to work efficiently and collaboratively within a team-based environment.
Additionally, you will undertake specified activities that improve timely, efficient, and consistent case management. This involves collaborating with Regulatory Advisors and other internal stakeholders providing high-level administrative support, and directly managing engagement with third parties to gather, review, and assess critical notification and/or compliance related information.
