As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be an integral part of our agile project, representing the business and technical teams requirements to help Ahpra re-imagine our ways of working and uplift our capabilities with exciting new technology and process enhancements using Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, omni studio, experience cloud and other products.

The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement the national regulatory scheme for health professionals. The purpose of health practitioner regulation is to protect the public by ensuring that only health practitioners who have the skills, qualifications and knowledge to provide safe care are registered.

This is a full time fixed term position that can be based in either Melbourne, Sydney or Adelaide working a hybrid arrangement

Reporting to the Business Analyst Lead, Business Transformation, the Senior Business Analyst, Business Transformation will be central to our success, producing functional and non-functional business requirement specifications, process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria, and designs across multiple initiatives to support the delivery of business outcomes using Salesforce.

In this role you will:

Be part of an exciting transformation program, focused on delivering improved future state experiences to staff and end-users.

  • Join a team focused on high performance, agile delivery, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to represent their needs aligned to the future state vision and developers to ensure great solutions to meet those needs.
  • Collate, document and analyse high-quality business requirements, user stories, and functional requirement specifications, and support through the build, test and implement phases that align with our future state
  • Provide advice and recommendations on business solutions to support the design and development of solutions to improve delivery and service levels.
  • Manage the alignment and traceability of stakeholder requirements across the program, project, and development lifecycle.

As the ideal candidate, you will demonstrate the following:

  • Min 1 year experience working in Salesforce and Agile projects
  • Demonstrated competencies across all BABoK v.3 knowledge areas
  • Highly proficient in agile ways of working and the use of Jira/Confluence tools
  • Advanced experience in business analysis, business process mapping and user story and acceptance criteria development, test plans and scripts in an agile context
  • Strong understanding of user-centred design principles
  • Degree in Business or equivalent and/or relevant experience and training.
  • Salesforce certification desired but not essential
