Exciting opportunity to join the second largest municipality in Melbourne’s metropolitan west. Located about 20 kms from the central business district, Brimbank City Council is culturally diverse.
We are seeking two full time permanent staff to join our team and be based at either the Westvale Community Centre or the Sydenham Neighbourhood House.
These senior positions within the Neighbourhood House Unit are responsible for developing and delivering a portfolio of contemporary community development initiatives for local community members in specific life stages. They develop partnerships with key stakeholders including community, education, business and government to achieve the strategic goals of the Brimbank Neighbourhood House and Community Centre Strategy and Action Plan 2019-2024.
These positions coordinate access to and maximise use of the Neighbourhood Houses/Community Centres and work in partnerships with Council’s co-located services. They are responsible for managing staff across multiple sites and may be required to work flexible hours due to operational requirements.
