We are currently seeking a permanent, part-time staff member to join our team based at our offices in Sunshine.

The role

Reporting to the Team Leader Young Communities, we are seeking a Youth Programs Officer who can bring their skills and experience to:

• Play a key role in the development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of a range of evidence-based youth programs.
• Develop new, and nurture existing, cross sectorial partnerships between Brimbank Youth Services, schools, and agencies.
• Advocate on behalf of young people’s issues.

To be considered you will have:

• Local government experience is desirable;
• Degree qualifications in social work, youth work, education or related discipline;
• Relevant experience working with young people within a community development context;
• Proven experience in designing and delivering services to young people and their families;
• Current Victorian Drivers Licence (Full);
• Current Police Check.
