About the role:

As a Senior GP, you will play a key role in shaping the clinical standards of our medical services, ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients. You’ll provide professional leadership and supervision to GPs, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment that promotes best practices and continuous improvement. You will also lead GP workforce development and play a vital role in clinical governance, ensuring our services are safe, effective, and patient-focused.

• Ideal for someone experienced in GP clinics: Whether you're looking to step into a management role or are a senior GP wanting to reduce your clinical load while continuing to mentor and work with GPs, this role could be perfect for you.
• Flexible work arrangements: The role can be completed in as little as one day per week with a hybrid working arrangement.
• Expanded role: For candidates interested in a broader role that includes both management and clinical components, we are open to negotiating a higher time commitment. This would allow you to continue seeing patients while taking on a leadership role in shaping our medical services.

Ballarat Community Health have GPs working across three sites in Ballarat, offering a full range of services including the management of chronic disease and sexual and reproductive health. The clinics are well supported with Nurses, Practice Managers and Customer Service teams, in addition to the broader BCH team who provide allied health, AOD, mental health, counselling and health promotion services.
