About the role

We are seeking Consultant level applicants (those early in their career with around 2-3 years’ experience) to support us deliver a range of interesting and challenging small, medium and large projects. You will have familiarity with environmental planning and/ or management requirements for projects and work with our highly experienced leaders and team to deliver a variety of planning approval and post approval documents.

If you are successful, you will work as part of our environment team, who have extensive planning approvals, sustainability and environmental management experience across the Sydney Metropolitan and regional NSW areas as well as the ACT, primarily in transport and energy infrastructure.

We are focussed on you and your career, and we will be looking to build your skills technically and support your growth and development as part of your role. We have a flexible working environment, but there will be a need to work from the office as well as some travel across NSW for work, for example to attend site visits.

Your professional values and attributes are important to us. You will have a relevant Bachelor-level university degree in environmental science, environmental management, environmental planning, resource management, environmental engineering or another relevant discipline.

Ideally you have experience working in the NSW environment and planning approvals process, including for linear infrastructure projects. You will be able to demonstrate your experience in areas such as delivering reviews of environmental factors (REFs) and/or environmental impact statements (EISs), environmental constraints assessments and/ or post approval documentation (Construction Environmental Management Plans etc)

You must have full Australian working rights.
