About the role:
As Executive Assistant and Corporate Services Coordinator, you will work closely with the Finance Manager to deliver high level administrative support across various corporate functions including Human Resources (HR), Finance, Information & Communications Technology (ICT) and general office administration. Additionally, this role provides comprehensive administrative support to the CEO and Executive Team, ensuring Beacon Foundation operates efficiently and remains responsive.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate the full range of administrative requirements of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, probation and cessation processes
- Manage travel arrangements for the organisation
- Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of Beacon’s corporate office and satellite offices, including procurement of all necessary supplies and services, rostering and visitor liaison
- Provide high level administrative support to the CEO and Executive Team, including diary management, research and preparation of briefing documents, coordination of meetings and events and preparation of agendas and minutes

Qualifications, Experience and Checks:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar high level administration role
- Experience in a broad range office and corporate management activities is desirable
- Experience in Human Resources administration will be highly regarded
- Proficient user of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with an interest in technology
- A mobile phone is required (you will receive an allowance in addition to your salary)
- Satisfactory National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People Check

Based in Hobart this position is a permanent, full-time contract with five weeks’ annual leave and an employee assistance program. Also, because we’re a not-for-profit, you can salary package up to $18,550 p.a. with no tax payable on this money.
