For over 50 years, they have empowered children to listen, speak, and thrive, offering specialised programs from early intervention to mentoring for school-aged children. They support over 900 families across Australia and provide global assistance through our HearHub platform. The Role:

They are seeking a dynamic Director of Finance to lead their financial strategy and operations. As a strategic partner to the Executive Team and Board of Directors, you will drive financial sustainability and impact. Your expertise in financial planning, analysis, and compliance will support TSC’s mission and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement long-term financial strategies.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
• Manage cash flow, investments, and capital expenditure.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and mitigate financial risks.
• Support fundraising and revenue generation efforts.
• Lead and mentor the finance team.
• Engage with stakeholders, including the Board, auditors, and funding organisations.

Required Experience and Skills:

• 8+ years in financial leadership roles
• Board exposure and reporting
• Strong knowledge of non-profit accounting and financial management
• Proven strategic planning and operational performance skills
• Excellent financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting abilities
• Proficiency with financial software systems
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
• Proactive, innovative, and self-driven attitude
• Commitment to empowering children with hearing loss
• Experience working with NDIS

Essential Qualifications:

• Degree in finance, business, or economics
• Certified Practising Accountant (CPA)
• Legal right to work in Australia
• Working with Children/Vulnerable People Check and NDIS Worker Check
