Your Side is a registered, not-for-profit aged care provider seeking a dynamic Marketing & Communications Coordinator to elevate the brand and help tell powerful stories across multiple channels. About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for a creative all-rounder with strong communication and writing skills, who thrives on variety.

You’ll play a central role in driving Your Side’s marketing, branding and communications activities to inform, connect and grow community impact.

You’ll be constantly seeking out opportunities to make, enrich and leverage communications content and experiences for all of Your Side’s audiences.

This includes writing stories and designing engaging visuals for the website, social media, email campaigns, print materials, events, and internal channels.

You will collaborate with and support a large, diverse and friendly team with their communications and marketing needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write and design on-brand marketing collateral including flyers, brochures, social media graphics, presentations, posters and reports
  • Write, schedule and publish engaging content for digital platforms including website, social media, email campaigns and digital advertising
  • Maintain a Channels Map that aligns all communications, campaigns, community engagement and industry activities and messages
  • Maintain and update website content using WordPress, ensuring alignment with brand voice and campaign objectives
  • Draft, design and distribute email communications (EDMs, newsletters) via platforms such as Mailchimp
  • Support implementation of marketing strategies aimed at client acquisition, engagement and retention
  • Create and maintain templates and digital tools for use by internal teams -ensuring consistent branding and messaging
  • Liaise with internal teams to understand content needs and deliver timely marketing support
  • Oversee brand consistency across all materials, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and tone of voice
  • Brief and coordinate with suppliers to manage production and delivery of collateral and maintain stock levels
  • Manage digital assets and content libraries - ensuring marketing materials are current, accessible and organised
  • Attend and support the coordination, promotions, planning and delivery of events and community outreach initiatives
  • Contribute to strategic campaign development and assist in measuring campaign effectiveness through basic reporting and analytics
  • Assist with marketing-related administrative tasks such as stock control of branded materials, invoice tracking and coordination of marketing resources
  • Research and monitor marketing trends and opportunities to continuously improve content, design and digital reach

What You’ll Bring

  • Professional experience in a communications, marketing or creative role
  • Confident and articulate communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong ability to negotiate, prioritise and manage own schedule and time
  • Strong design skills and a creative, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Experience with social media platforms and content scheduling tools
  • Confident working with WordPress and email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp)
  • Excellent attention to detail and understanding of brand application/compliance
  • A warm, collaborative personality with a people-first approach
  • Must have full driver’s license and own vehicle

Desirables:

  • Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics or Office365 tools
  • Experience working in the community, health or not-for-profit sectors
