The Orange Door (TOD) was created in response to the Royal Commission into Family Violence and operate as single area-based entry points for vulnerable families and children (including victims/survivors of family violence, families with children at risk of abuse or neglect and perpetrators of family violence) to access services when and where they need them. The Orange Door is primarily an Intake and Assessment service with Victim/Survivors being referred externally for longer term support and operates within a matrix management structure.
The role has a strong focus on service improvement and excellence and the worker will be skilled in creating strong external partnerships and opportunities and have a vision for the future.
The role will support the implementation and ongoing operation of the NEMA and HMA Orange Doors by;
