Flexi Worker - Geelong

Meli Community

About the Role

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? The City Limits Youth Refuge, part of the Youth Services Division, is looking for a dedicated Flexi Worker to join our team. We provide short-term, crisis accommodation for young people aged 16 to 20 who have no other immediate housing options.

At City Limits, we support our residents in finding sustainable, long-term, independent accommodation or, when safe and appropriate, a return to family. During their stay, young people also participate in living skills development and receive support to engage in or retain their education and employment.

Each stay at our refuge is typically up to six weeks, but this can vary based on individual needs. We operate on a fortnightly roster, which includes sleepovers, day shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

As a Flexi Worker, your main focus will be assisting young people to develop essential living skills and transition into secure, long-term housing. This role requires you to respond to the program's needs and collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
