About You:

Due to rapid growth in the company, we are in need of a Support Coordinator to join our team. We are looking for a long-term employee, so we are willing to be flexible for the right person.

  • Work from home. We are a national company and work with participants from all across Australia.
  • The advertised position is for the Central Coast/ Gosford region however it is not limited to this area due to a large and continuously growing client base; other region can be supported as well depending on various factors for suitability. 
  • Part time, 21 hours, preferably over 3 days, flexible to your schedule.
  • A potential for increased hours if desired as company growth continues.

Highly Regarded, however, not necessary:

  • Support Coordination or Project Management experience
  • Knowledge of the NDIS funding system
  • Previous experience in the disability space

Requirements:

  • A positive attitude to people with disabilities and their families
  • A high level of disability awareness and an understanding of the impact disabilities can have on participants
  • Strong ability to communicate, effective Listening and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and Advanced Microsoft Office

The Role:

  • Monitoring caseloads to ensure funding is implemented correctly
  • Initiating, coordinating and monitoring participants supports and plans
  • Contributing to positive outcomes for participants
  • Identifying potential service providers that will suit the participants needs.
  • Resolving issues as they arise, including in times of crisis
  • Stakeholder management, including but not limited to, family, health specialists , support workers
  • Reporting to Managing Support Coordinator or Acting Managing Support Coordinator
  • $36.50 - $39.26 per hour (dependent on experience) + relevant award entitlements + superannuation
  • Be willing to obtain related workers checks and screening
