Exciting Opportunity! Care Manager - The Terraces

Are you a passionate and motivated Care Manager looking to make a real difference in the lives of residents? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our exceptional team of care professionals in Paddington on a permanent full-time basis.

Why This Role is Special

As a Care Manager, you will work closely with the Residential Manager to ensure our residents' clinical and health outcomes are met and understood. You will oversee the activities of our clinical team, ensuring clinical excellence in the home, adherence to Anglicare policies, and continuous improvement of clinical standards. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring a person-centred approach to resident care.

Your Impact

  • Establish comprehensive communication between the multidisciplinary team and other relevant staff.
  • Work closely with residents' families, keeping them fully informed about clinical issues.
  • Mentor staff and share clinical knowledge and skills to contribute to the effective functioning of the team.

What We're Looking For

  • Current nursing registration with AHPRA.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Care Manager or senior Registered Nurse within aged care.
  • A 'hands-on' approach to ensuring quality clinical care.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to supervise, delegate, and work as part of a team.
  • Commitment to the Christian values of Anglicare.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of aged care accreditation standards.
  • Postgraduate study in relevant disciplines (geriatrics, dementia, palliative care) is highly desirable.
