We are driven by a passion to serve our community and support those in need. We are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to join our Community and Mission team, playing a key role in influencing strategic decision-making. With a strong focus on operational excellence, you will help ensure accurate financial information, drive sound financial analysis, and maintain compliance with statutory reporting requirements.

The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing high-quality financial insights and advice across various financial and management accounting functions. You will be involved in budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting, and the monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to enable effective decision-making that aligns with Anglicare's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly and year-end closing processes.
  • Provide comprehensive financial analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assist in the strategic business decision-making process.
  • Collaborate with a wide range of internal stakeholders, offering expert financial advice and support to operational teams.
  • Provide financial insight for effective planning and operational performance.
  • Assist in ensuring financial compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with business leaders to inform and influence financial and operational strategy.
  • Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, ensuring adherence to internal and external reporting deadlines.

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, or a similar field.
  • CA or CPA qualified.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in Finance roles, ideally within a complex or not-for-profit organisation.
  • Proven ability to manage month-end reporting processes and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships and engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in providing sound financial advice that supports decision-making.
  • Knowledge of financial compliance and statutory reporting requirements.
