Your Role

As the Head of Finance for Community and Mission, you will:

• Provide strategic financial leadership to support commercial operations and sound decision-making.
• Lead and mentor a team of 2 Finance Analysts, fostering capability, accountability, and professional development.
• Prepare and manage the month end schedule ensuring accuracy and completeness in a timely manner.
• Deliver accurate financial analysis, reporting, and key insights to guide divisional operational performance.
• Drive the budgeting, forecasting cycles, and the annual business planning process.
• Collaborate with other areas of the organisation and provide process improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to the overall organisation's financial capabilities alongside other Finance leaders and the CFO.
• Develop and implement innovative financial systems and processes to drive efficiencies and better controls.
• Partner with Community and Mission stakeholders to shape the financial viability of Anglicare's Community and Mission initiatives.
• Communicate effectively and articulate financial concepts and performance to various stakeholders ranging from the Executive level to a program case worker.

What You Bring

• Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Accounting or related field.
• CA/CPA qualification with a minimum of 10 years' experience in senior finance roles.
• Advanced financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of building high-performing teams.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A keen interest in the not-for-profit sector and a desire to contribute to a values-driven organisation.
