We are on the hunt for a dedicated Lifestyle Worker to join our amazing team at Anglicare. You'll be making a real impact in the lives of older individuals, helping them live comfortably in their own homes.

Your Role:

As a Lifestyle Worker, you'll be focusing on helping our clients remain in their own homes.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Personal Care: Assisting with showering, toileting, and grooming for both male and female clients.
  • Domestic Assistance: Providing light housekeeping to keep homes tidy and comfortable.
  • Meal Preparation: Preparing and serving nutritious meals.
  • Medication Assistance: Prompting and assisting with medication.
  • Transport: Helping clients with appointments, shopping, and social outings.
  • Respite Care: Giving carers a much-needed break by spending time with clients.
  • Social Support: Assisting clients to access community activities.
  • Social Group Facilitation: Helping clients connect with each other.

What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in aged care or community care.
  • A willingness to learn and a heart for older people.
  • Friendly and professional communication skills.
  • NSW Driver's Licence with full comprehensive car insurance.
