About The Role

Anglicare is looking for a Program Lead - Norfolk Island to be responsible for service delivery, service improvement, resource and team management including the clinical and administrative functions related to programs designed to support families and individuals on Norfolk Island. Programs include family and relationship counselling, children and parenting support and financial assistance by one-to-one delivery, case management, group-work and training.

This is a Permanent Part Time 4 days a week role based at Norfolk Island.

Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Manage daily operations of the Norfolk Island Hub.
  • Meet and exceed service delivery targets and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure effective communication, compliance, and reporting with stakeholders and delivery teams.
  • Support stakeholder relationships to foster collaboration, growth, and opportunities.
  • Provide inclusive, person-centred services that are trauma-informed and culturally safe.
  • Maintain a reduced client case load through various forms of client support.
  • Lead and supervise staff to build effective teams.
  • Provide regular performance feedback and address issues promptly.
  • Support staff development through appraisal, supervision, training, and development.
  • Build strategic relationships to ensure safety and support for Women and Community Safety programs.
  • Ensure documentation compliance with organisational, legislative, and funding requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by adhering to policies and staying updated.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Degree qualification and minimum of 3+ years demonstrated work experience in Community Services or another relevant equivalent.
  • Experience in delivering services to individuals and families in a community context.
  • A hands-on leader, with demonstrated experience including the coaching, mentoring, and training of your team.
  • Leadership and relational skills, with a desire to support high performance teams and adopt a proactive attitude.
  • Current unrestricted driver's licence and a willingness to drive between sites as required.
  • Current National Police Check and appropriate professional body registration relevant to qualification.
