About the Role

Based at Macquarie Park, you'll lead a team of talented project managers and business analysts, ensuring optimal resource allocation, seamless project delivery, and high-quality reporting. Reporting to the Head of EPMO and collaborating closely with the broader team, you'll drive process improvements across the full project lifecycle-from onboarding to closure. This role involves mentoring team members, enhancing governance, and fostering a culture of excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and Inspire: Manage a skilled team delivering impactful technical and business-led projects across Anglicare.
  • Drive Excellence: Bed in governance, streamline processes, and support high-quality project execution.
  • Collaborate: Partner with stakeholders to align project and program delivery with strategic priorities
  • Think Strategically: Connect the dots by maintaining a holistic view of broader portfolio needs and be proactive in forecasting their demands.
  • Innovate: Automate manual processes and continuously improve project management practices.
  • Foster Talent: Recruit, onboard, and develop team members, building a strong internal and external talent pipeline.

What You'll Bring

  • Qualifications & Expertise: tertiary qualifications in Business or related fields, plus specialist training in project management.
  • Leadership: Over 5 years of experience leading hybrid teams and fostering a connected, collaborative culture.
  • Delivery Success: Proven ability to manage and deliver complex projects across finance, IT, H&R and operations.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong prioritisation, planning, and action-oriented skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Adaptability: Agility to navigate competing priorities and evolving business needs.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional relationship-building abilities and a knack for inspiring confidence and enthusiasm.
  • Project Management Mastery: Deep understanding of the project lifecycle, methodologies, and governance.
