As a Tech Bar Support Consultant, you'll be the friendly face they turn to for all things tech-related, providing on-site support, troubleshooting, and training to enhance their digital literacy and independence.

You will be the go-to technology expert, offering compassionate and patient support to residents. Your efforts will directly improve their well-being by enabling them to confidently use technology, access digital services, and stay connected with loved ones.

  • Resident & Village Technology Support: Troubleshoot basic hardware/software issues, assist with digital access, and support village management with tech-related needs.
  • Training & Digital Literacy: Deliver engaging one-on-one and group training sessions, helping residents confidently use digital tools and applications.
  • Technology Promotion & Forums: Lead information sessions on available technology services and encourage digital adoption within the village.
  • Equipment & Infrastructure Management: Configure, catalogue, and maintain IT equipment for resident and operational use.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Support: Assist in managing vendor relationships and ensuring seamless technology experiences for residents and staff.
  • Workplace Safety & Compliance: Follow safe work practices and report any IT-related hazards to ensure a secure technology environment.

Who We're Looking For:

You are a tech-savvy communicator with a passion for empowering others through technology. Your patience, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to simplify complex technical concepts will help residents embrace technology with confidence.

  • Customer-Focused: Provide warm, clear, and patient tech support tailored to seniors.
  • Training & Communication Skills: Comfortable leading digital literacy training sessions for individuals and groups.
  • Tech Expertise: Strong troubleshooting skills across a range of end-user devices and enterprise systems.
  • Collaborative & Organised: Able to work with different teams, manage multiple tasks, and provide proactive IT support.
  • Degree or Diploma in IT or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in IT support or customer service roles.
  • Strong knowledge of end-user devices (Windows, Mac, iOS, Android) and networking basics (Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS, VLAN).
  • Experience delivering user-friendly tech training to non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting audio/video conferencing tools.
