The opportunity

The Individual Giving Manager leads a specialised team focused on increasing philanthropic income, community fundraising and BirdLife’s donor base. The role supports the Fundraising and Marketing team in executing fundraising strategies and programs across various channels to achieve and surpass organisational goals.

To be successful in this role, you will need at least five years of experience in a fundraising and/or or a related field, and your expertise will include team management and experience in a mix of direct marketing fundraising and e-campaigns, donor stewarding, writing and data analysis. A strong understanding of CRM systems, combined with a proven ability to extract insights from data and marketing analytics will be highly valued. An ability to interpret and communicate technical and scientific information into plain language will also be valued. The position description sets out the selection criteria relevant to this role.

What you need to know

This is an ongoing, full-time position (1.0 FTE). Please note, that this is a hybrid position working in a home-based environment and in the national office in Carlton, Victoria.

Applicants must possess corresponding work rights to be eligible for appointment and a current national police check (NPC) (or willingness to obtain).
