The Manager Grants and Ethics is a significant role within the Office of Research Services, providing oversight of Human Research Ethics administration, and post-award contract and financial management. The role works closely with the Ethics Committee, Finance and Legal areas to provide a timely and quality service to our academics and research students.
In conjunction with the Director of Research Services, the Manager, Grants and Ethics is responsible for overseeing grants management and research ethics. The position ensures a seamless integration between grant management and research ethics. The position also provides support to the Ethics Committee and its Chair.
This position requires a high level of autonomy, judgment, independent decision making and a high level of accountability.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Experience using Research Management and/ or contract management systems will be a distinct advantage.
The salary for the position commences at $104,310.10 (full time equivalent) plus 12% superannuation per annum.
