We are seeking applications from Bookkeepers and Accountants looking to make a positive difference in a for-purpose, conservation focussed organisation.
Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary is seeking a part-time (24-32hrs) Bookkeeper/Accountant to provide financial services and support to our growing business. A tourism venture with outreach in the areas of wildlife rescue, treatment and rehabilitation, the role demands a keen eye for detail and a sound understanding of financial regulation and reporting.
The successful candidate will administrate the Accounts Payable and Receivable functions, while providing timely financial management reports to support decision making and effective risk management. This role will also facilitate statutory reporting to ensure compliance with banking, taxation and other regulatory obligations.
Having a passion and interest in wildlife and the environment is fundamental to helping deliver Bonorong’s purpose and is embedded within our ethos and culture. So, while finance is your core skillset, an appreciation of all things wild is a valued attribute!
Your hours of work will be between Monday to Friday with exact days and hours to be discussed with the successful candidate depending on what suits the applicant and us.
We are based in Brighton – around 30 minutes north of Hobart CBD. It is essential that you have your own reliable transport to get to and from work.
