  • 2-years fixed term position with a view to extend
  • $79,104 to $88,589 plus 17% Superannuation
  • Position based at The Bouverie Centre, Brunswick with free onsite parking

The Bouverie Centre is seeking two dedicated Administrative Officers to support the day-to-day operations of the Centre, focusing on assisting families seeking support for their well-being and relationships through the Centre's family therapy service.

Successful candidates will perform high-level administrative tasks across the organisation's program areas, including academic, research, training and clinical. Key responsibilities include being the first contact for onsite in-person and in-bound communications across varied contexts and supporting the Family Care Coordinators to triage incoming requests, gather information, and enter data into CSNet, an online platform for managing client data.

About You

We’re looking for highly organised, service-oriented professionals with:

  • Experience in administrative roles within clinical, education, or health settings
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workloads efficiently
  • A team-first attitude with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience with privacy/data collection in clinical environments and accounts processing will be highly regarded

Essential skills and Knowledge

  1. Demonstrated depth or breadth of expertise developed through extensive relevant experience and application.
  2. Demonstrated ability to set priorities and monitor workflows within own area of responsibility.
  3. Demonstrated capacity to organise work effectively and efficiently and deliver outputs in a timely manner, to a high degree of accuracy.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work independently, follow established procedures with limited supervision and contribute positively to an effective team.
  5. Experience working within a clinical health setting or a role requiring regard to privacy and data collection.
  6. High level proficiency in computer software packages including Microsoft suite, especially word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email, calendars, and the use of the internet as a research tool.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated customer service focus and solution orientated approach.
  8. Strong organisational skills and ability to switch between tasks.
