Curtin Student Guild is a vibrant and dynamic not-for-profit organisation dedicated to enhancing the student experience at Curtin University. Their elected representatives are the voice of students on campus. The Guild coordinates social events and activities, supports student clubs, operates food and beverage outlets on campus and assist students holistically.
Seeking a considered and contemporary leader, this role will partner and collaborate with the Guild President (a student elected role which changes annually) and will be pivotal in steering the organisation through its next phase of positive change. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading teams, successfully engaging a wide variety of stakeholders, and adept at converting strategic initiatives into operational success without losing the core culture that defines Curtin Guild.
Your proven track record at a senior management level in a medium-sized company / division, combined with an ability to provide strong financial control will place you in an excellent position to be considered for this role. We require both a strategic planner, a problem-solver and someone who is completely comfortable with risk management and governance. Most of all, you will be working with student leaders, so embracing what they can bring to the Guild is paramount.
Whilst not essential, some experience in the community services sector, a public authority or higher education sector will further strengthen your application.
Curtin Student Guild offers a competitive remuneration package and a supportive work environment on a beautiful campus. This is a unique opportunity to lead a passionate team and make a significant impact on the student experience at Curtin University.
