Thank you for your interest in the position of Sexual Violence Support & Education Worker at the Brisbane Rape and Incest Survivors Support Centre (BRISSC).

This position is a 6 month locum position providing relief for workers who are absent. It is available from May 2025 until October 2025 (negotiable) as a part-time fixed term contract of 45 hours a fortnight.

The service delivery will involve working with sexual assault survivors. This includes individual support, group facilitation, community education, training and development and administration support.

BRISSC is a women’s only service and it is a genuine occupational requirement that workers be women (as permitted under Sections 25 and 104 of the Queensland Anti-Discrimination Act 1991).
