We’re looking for a professional Enrolled Nurse with relevant experience who wants to join our 2,000+ team of staff and volunteers to make a difference on a casual basis based in Clifton Hill.

THE ROLE

Working under the direct and indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse, the Enrolled Nurse provides professional, holistic and person centred care in accordance with policies, procedures and legislative and regulatory requirements. The Enrolled Nurse leads the direct care team and exercises efficiency and judgement in identifying situations requiring assistance from the Registered Nurse (RN).

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Experience Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA registration with medication endorsement
  • Experience in the Aged Care sector, preferably in residential setting.
  • Experience supporting residents from diverse backgrounds with complex care needs
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ACFI and Accreditation Standards in Aged care
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team – ‘one team approach’
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of client both internally and externally
  • Excellent organisational skills ability to plan own workload, and meet deadlines

Salary will be $28.64 to $32.68 per hour for casuals plus 25% casual loading, based on skills and experience plus superannuation.

To be considered for the role and be successful in it, we’re looking for an Enrolled Nurse who has the following key skills and experiences:

  • Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with medication endorsement
  • Demonstrated knowledge and nursing experience in the provision of aged care, preferably in residential and/or community setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of ACFI and Accreditation Standards in Aged care
  • Proven ability to work autonomously within the scope of practice and as part of a team
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain professional working relationships both internally and externally whilst maintaining confidentiality
  • Well-developed organisational skills including the ability to plan own workload, priorities and meet deadlines
  • Customer service focused
  • Highly-developed administration, computer skills and competency in Microsoft Programs
