We’re looking for an innovative, people centric and customer focused team leader to lead our Payroll function on a Fixed Term full-time basis (18 months contract), based in Fitzroy.
As the organisation embarks on the implementation of Time and Attendance and HRIS system, we are on the lookout for a seasoned payroll team leader who has led payroll team effectively on a day to day basis and through periods of change. The person will play a key role as the subject matter expert and take active part in configuration of the new system to ensure it meets business requirements and also support the project through its life cycle. Reporting to the Manager, HR Operations, the Payroll Team Leader will develop, manage and lead a team of 3 payroll resources. The role will focus on improving the quality of payroll services delivered along with identifying opportunities to automate and remove high volume manual tasks. The role will also be responsible for building compliance in payroll processes and mechanisms which assist in preventing errors that lead to payment issues.
