At Brotherhood of St. Laurence (BSL), we are seeking a passionate Social Media Coordinator to join our dedicated Communications team.
Location: Fitzroy
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time working 38 hours per week
Salary: $87,886.87 - $94,565.36 per annum, based on skills and experience plus 11.5% superannuation.
Reporting into the Senior Manager, Communications and Engagement, the Social Media Coordinator is part of a team of storytellers who work hard to raise the profile of BSL’s leadership on policy reform, our partnerships with communities, our impactful programs and the lived experiences and expertise of the people we advocate alongside.
We’re looking for someone who can turn complex issues into impactful digital content. You’ll help shape how BSL shows up online—elevating community voices, highlighting policy and program solutions, and bringing our advocacy for an Australia free of poverty to life through compelling storytelling.
This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes social media, has a deep commitment to social justice, and knows how to tell stories and create written and visual content that moves people—not just to feel, but to act.
