The Burketown Pub is a modern facility that has been extensively renovated over the last 10 years. It is a community-owned iconic venue in the region, receiving great support from local and regional customers as well as the many tourists that pass through the region during the tourist season.

The Pub provides a social hub for locals and visitors to the community and has a great reputation as a place where people from all walks of life can enjoy a great meal, a cold beer and good company. The Pub offers the following facilities:

• 2 separate dining areas
• 1 main bar
• Accommodation (donga style rooms)

We are looking for an experienced Manager to run this iconic property.

• Full accomodation provided including air-conditioning, electricity and wifi
• Excellent salary package

Ideally, you will be an experienced Hotel Manager that can demonstrate a history of success in delivering a superior hospitality service while meeting compliance requirements and financial targets.

Alternatively, you have made a commitment to the hospitality industry and you have significant industry experience with developed leadership skills and business acumen.

Equally, if you have been working as a Duty / Assistant Manager and want the opportunity to take the next step in your career to an independent management position, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll oversee the full operations of the property, ensuring full compliance to hotel operating controls, protocols and procedures. You'll set the standard for a welcoming, memorable experience for guests and lead from the front to mentor the team.

You will need to hold a Responsible Management of Licensed Venues (RMLV) certificate and an Approved Managers Licence.
