Bush Heritage Australia are seeking a Conservation Data Analyst to join the Science and Conservation team.
This is an exceptional opportunity to make a very real contribution to the protection of Australia’s unique wildlife and their habitat.
For over 30 years we’ve supported and protected some of the most fragile ecosystems across the continent and seen the impact of our science-based approach. We keep our eyes on the horizon and focus firmly on long-term, landscape scale impact. As a national, not-for-profit, we want to continue to expand the areas we protect and deepen the impact we have. We work in partnership with Traditional Owners, listening to and learning from the customs and cultures that came before us.
Together we can heal and protect the bush, now and into the future.
As a science-based conservation organisation, the integrity of our scientific and land management data is critical to inform our adaptive Conservation Management Process (derived from the Open Standards for the Practice of Conservation), underpin management decision-making and communicate our impact.
The Conservation Data Analyst will be responsible for ensuring Bush Heritage’s Science & Conservation data integrity. The role will ensure the organisational data collection, management and analysis solutions are business driven and implemented ensuring quality standards, consistency and comprehensive coverage to support the organisations science and conservation objectives. The role will embed data standards and quality through development of appropriate processes, governance and systems and provide training and support for staff.
