Baptist World Aid Australia

Why Baptist World Aid Australia?

If you have a desire to be part of a passionate, committed, people-oriented organisation that is committed to ending poverty… then you’re in the right place!

Baptist World Aid Australia is an international Christian development organisation working in 20 countries. We partner with like-minded organisations overseas to implement community development and disaster projects that empower communities to lift themselves out of poverty. Last year, our work benefited close to 800 000 people.

When you join Baptist World Aid, you’ll become part of a rich, over 60-year history including 50-years of elevating child rights through Child Sponsorship. As a valued member of our team, you’ll be integral to achieving our mission of helping Australians tackle the injustice of global poverty.

We’re looking for someone team orientated, who loves projects and process with a desire to grow their skills in marketing and fundraising… is it you?

About the Role

You will bring a campaign concept to life and you’ll grow in your fundraising knowledge and expertise. As a Campaigns Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for managing key seasonal campaigns, including but not limited to our Christmas Appeal. You will execute the campaigns, collaborate with important relationship builders, work on our CRM, track, communicate milestones and ensure stakeholders are updated and report and evaluate campaign success. These campaigns are key in attracting and acquiring givers, helping our organisation grow!

Learn about the customer journey, fundraising and marketing as you report to the Campaigns lead in a small team of 3 and support them to achieve team KPIs.

About You?

You’re a driven individual who loves ticking off tasks and bringing people together to achieve a common goal. You’re a team player—you love to collaborate but can also work independently, keeping to deadlines and making magic work behind the scenes to meet those deadlines. You may be a career fundraiser looking for a new challenge, or coming fresh from an entry to mid-level role in a high-performing NGO, digital agency or product growth role. You love analysing what makes people ‘tick’. You may have experience driving campaigns, project management or want to gain a deeper knowledge of fundraising, lead generation, and acquisition marketing. You’re naturally excited about data driven trends and find satisfaction in achieving results. No job is too small for you, as you own each aspect of the campaign. If you want to use your skills and experience to pursue a career in the not-for-profit sector and contribute to a mission close to your heart - this role is for you.
