Are you seeking a role with a values-driven for purpose organisation where you can support young people in our community? Are you passionate about adherence to organisational policies, legal requirements, and WHS regulations? Play a key role in the operations of a well-respected youth service organisation supporting at-risk young people

This full-time Operations and Property Officer position supports our mission by providing operational support across property, fleet, and WHS compliance functions. The role is responsible for ensuring effective management of housing assets, coordinating vendors, and maintaining compliance with WHS regulations.

You’ll be a great candidate for this role if you have:

  • Minimum four (4) years' experience in an operations, property, or administrative support role
  • Working knowledge of property and tenancy legislation and compliance requirements (e.g., Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008 QLD)
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating maintenance works with contractors and managing vendor relationships across multiple sites
  • Demonstrated competency in managing financial tasks such as processing invoices and tracking expenses
  • High-level administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and data integrity in all administrative duties and the ability to promote a safe, well-functioning, and compliant working environment across all locations

Given the work that we do there will be few non-negotiable requirements. You’ll need to be able to have, or obtain prior to commencement:

  • Working with Children Suitability Card [Blue Card].
  • National Police Check clearance.
  • Evidence of vaccination, immunity, or medical exemption for the following preventable diseases - Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella [Chicken Pox]; Pertussis [Whooping Cough]; and COVID-19.
