About the position
The Family and Community Services Manager (FCSM) will strengthen and unify CAAPS family services and community-based programs. The FCSM is responsible to the CEO to deliver CAAPS purpose and strategy. The FCSM will lead and empower teams to successfully implement programs, whilst administering governance, reporting and financial management.
Some of your responsibilities will be:
- Team Leadership, empowerment and supervision to attain CAAPS mission
- Personify CAAPS CORE values
- Oversight of CAAPS Child Safe Organisation Principles
- Service Delivery Excellence and Continuous Improvement
- Support the CEO to deliver CAAPS strategic goals and operational plans
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Program Financial Oversight and Budget Management
- Compliance and Policy management
- Records and Reporting Management
Your skills, experience and qualifications include:
- Relevant tertiary qualification e.g. social sciences related field.
- Extensive experience in successfully managing evidence-based programs and motivating multi-disciplinary teams with a period of at least 3 years within a not-for-profit organisation.
- A track record of delivering successful operational results in the face of significant challenges.
- A demonstrated passion for social change and creating an organisation of influence for people experiencing disadvantage in particular Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
- High level capacity to execute plans and deliver on KPIs.
- High level capacity to monitor service models and develop budgets to ensure viability and sustainability.
- Demonstrated ability to operate and meet requirements of legislated regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to represent and negotiate.
- Experience in a diverse organisation demanding high standards with a focus on flexible consumer/client centred outcomes.
- Extensive experience in the timely preparation and presentation of reports and submissions for escalation to CAAPS CEO and Board.
- Current First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain
- Current NT Driver’s License (minimum C Class)
- Current Criminal History Check
- Current Ochre Card (Category E)
- Current NAPCAN Mandatory Reporting Certificate, or willingness to obtain
