The Fundraising and Communications Division (FCD) is responsible for ensuring the Cancer Council Victoria maintains a visible, engaging presence in the community; and to inspire and activate support from Victorians.

The Partnerships and Philanthropy Unit is responsible for developing and implementing an effective relationship management approach with high value supporters to deliver significant and sustainable income to support the work of Cancer Council Victoria – working with major donors, charitable foundations, corporate partners and Gift in Wills supporters.

About the opportunity

We are seeking a Partnerships and Philanthropy Coordinator to join the Fundraising and Communications Division. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Partnerships and Philanthropy.

Responsibilities include:

  • The coordination and administration activities of the Partnerships and Philanthropy program.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service to all of our supporters.
  • Support the Partnerships and Philanthropy team in engagement activities and communications with supporters and prospects
  • Prospect Research
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure supporters and funders receive timely and accurate reports and impact updates on the projects they are funding.

All about you

We are looking for someone with:

  • Demonstrated experience in a customer service, administration or similar role in either a nonprofit or a commercial environment
  • Strong organisational skills, with an ability to work autonomously and the proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated project coordination and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience using CRM systems for strategic management of donor/customer engagement and development (Salesforce experience a benefit)

  • Base salary of $73,698 to $79,370 p.a. (dependent on experience, pro rata for part time) plus 11.5% superannuation
