Capability Psychology is an established and well-respected practice located in Sunny Queensland, sitting between both Brisbane and Gold Coast in a charming old Queenslander. An exciting opportunity exists for a Social Worker to join our close-knit team of dedicated people and work with NDIS and Wesley Mission clients. This expansion provides in-house Mental Health supports for children, adolescents, and adults. In consultation with your team leader, the successful candidate will also provide brief therapeutic interventions, facilitate group work, coordinate care and follow-ups.

As one of the first contact points for young people accessing our service, you will need to be able to quickly build a positive rapport with a wide range of young people, their families and wider support networks. You will be able to demonstrate your previous experience working closely with the local community and partnering with youth services to provide holistic and integrated care.

Skills and Qualifications

The successful applicant will have:

• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in health, psychology, social work, social science or social welfare, health promotion, education or similar.
• A compassionate and committed individual
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organisational and time management skills
